The Lover — Our first production!
The Napa Valley Performing Arts Center at Lincoln Theater and Valley Players present Harold Pinter’s The Lover for three performances only on January 3, 4 and 5 at 7pm at the Napa Valley Performing Arts Center at Lincoln Theater in Yountville.
The Lover is a quirky, tense, intriguing play by Harold Pinter that examines the private intricacies of modern marriage. To all outward appearances, Sarah and Richard are a respectable, conventional suburban couple. Behind closed doors, however, the couple enjoys a surprising and intriguing arrangement… Like any of Pinter’s works, this one-act contains the laughs, tears, and tensions that arise from the social intricacies of modern life.
Directed by Debbie Baumann and featuring June Alane Reif, Richard Pallaziol and Walter Hamlin, The Lover will be presented in a minimalistic, intimate style. It is recommended for adult audiences only.
Tickets are available online at http://lincolntheater.com/events/, by calling the box office on Tuesday through Saturday from 11am to 3pm at 707-944-9900 or at the door on the days of performances beginning at 6pm.
The Lover is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York.
