The Crew of Resolving Hedda
Debbie Gargalikis Baumann (Director), director of many shows for the past twenty years, says she’s still learning. Without formal education in theater other then after-school classes in directing, acting and improv, doing has proven to be her method. “Each play I direct takes on a different skill. And from there you learn to store them, and then apply them in your directing notes. Never stop learning and keep your brain active: theater does just that for me.” Debbie is currently on board member of Valley Players and past Artistic Director.
April Vincak (Assistant Director) has been doing this since she was a teenager, when life hasn’t gotten in the way and she doesn’t think she can stop without an intervention.
Patte Quinn (Stage Manager) has been involved in theatre since 1991. She has performed in many a play as well as stage-managed for troupes such as Valley Players, Dreamweavers, Riverfront Playhouse in Redding and St. John’s Lutheran Children productions and others. She is honored to be part of this awesome cast and crew.
Lu Kenmonth (Sound Design, Technical Director/Light & Sound Technician) is a 2nd grade teacher at an arts integration school in Napa. As a teacher, Lu has produced and directed seven children’s musical theater productions including Disney’s Aladdin, The Jungle Book, Annie and Seussical.
Rhonda Bowen (Set Design) was delighted to take up Set Design once again for Valley Players’ Resolving Hedda, embracing the challenge of creating a fairly comprehensive period-“ish” set under our current nomadic conditions. This wouldn’t have been possible without the tremendous support of VP’s design/build team and, this time, the assistance of several family members fetching furnishings and set-dressing items from far and wide! Rhonda studied Theatre Arts including acting, directing, design, and stagecraft at Santa Rosa Junior College, completing her B.A. in Architecture at U.C. Berkeley.
Keith Baldanza (Set Builder) first got his hands dirty building set pieces for the San Jose Repertory Theater oh-so-many moons ago. A driving force in the early days of Dreamweavers, he is proud to have contributed to nearly every Valley Players production since 2018.
Paul Marciniak (Set Builder) became involved with Valley Players after their first performance. He has been having a fun time building sets and working behind the scenes as a stage member ever since. He is delighted to work with such a great and talented group. Please come join us: you won’t be disappointed!
